1. Direct Booking: For Freelancers
The Direct Booking feature allows you to connect and hire freelancers easily and efficiently.
How It Works
Filter and Explore: Use the Explore Page to filter talent by skills, location, and services offered. This feature helps you narrow your search to find the perfect fit for your project.
Review Services: Each creative’s profile includes detailed information about their services, portfolios, and previous work, giving you insight into their capabilities before you reach out.
Send an Inquiry: Once you've found a creative you’d like to work with, use the in-app messaging feature to send them an inquiry and discuss the project.
A Social Approach to Hiring
Hiring on NewComma is designed to be social and interactive.
Engage on the Feed: Interact with creatives on the platform’s feed to see their latest projects, updates, and posts. This allows you to build relationships and gain a more informed understanding of their work.
Discover What’s Happening Locally: Check out creative events and trends in your region to connect with relevant talent.

2. Opportunity Listings: For Full-Time Roles, Grants, and More
If you're hiring for full-time roles or opportunities requiring applications, such as grants, residencies, and competitions, posting an opportunity listing is the best approach.
How It Works
Post Your Listing: Create a detailed opportunity listing, specifying your requirements, deadline, and other key details.
Application Options:
Choose to have candidates apply directly through NewComma and use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage applications. The ATS allows you to:
Review applications and portfolios in one place.
Add custom screening questions to filter applicants based on specific criteria.
Message talent and build a shortlist.
Alternatively, use NewComma to boost an existing listing you already have on another site. When candidates see your opportunity on NewComma’s board, they’ll be directed to the external site to apply.
Pricing for Listings
Two-week listing: $68 (50 Comma Credits)
30-day listing: $132 (100 Comma Credits)
If you are subscribed to a NewComma membership, you will be allocated a monthly allowance of Comma Credits to spend on your listings.
Plus ($6/month): 150 Credits
Pro ($10/month): 250 Credits
Optional boosts are available to promote your listing on NewComma’s feed and Explore Page as well as external channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter [X] and our newsletter, ensuring maximum visibility.
