Child Safety Policy
At NewComma, we are deeply committed to creating a safe, empowering digital space for creative professionals. As part of that commitment, we have a strict minimum age requirement of 16 years old for all users. This policy outlines our stance on child safety, our compliance with global regulations, and the steps we take to prevent online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA), in alignment with the Technology Coalition’s Developer Good Practices.
1. Minimum Age Requirement
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account on NewComma.
We do not allow individuals under the age of 16 to register, interact, post, or participate on the platform in any capacity.
We actively monitor signups and use age-gating, and moderation to identify and remove accounts suspected to be underage.
If an underage user is discovered, their account will be immediately suspended and removed.
2. Detection, Moderation & Enforcement
Profile & Content Moderation
NewComma uses manual review to detect suspicious or harmful activity, including signs of grooming, predatory behaviour, or exploitative content.
Explicit content, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or inappropriate messages will be removed immediately and may result in legal escalation.
